This is not getting easier

In my last post I briefly posted about a problem with variable transferability in the logic system…to put things mildly, I underestimated the problem, and when I said I was “halfway through” I meant “halfway through what I then thought had to be done.”  Basically, the system has multiple logical layers – and each layer now needs to keep track of how variables are used.  While I continue to make progress, every new step reveals a deeper problem that needs yet another.  So the whole system needs a lot of work before the logic system is truly complete. I have a road map for the way forward, but I anticipate that it will take a while.

I’m beginning  to wonder if this project is a bit big for me alone, with my multiple other time commitments.  If anyone comes across this site and has interest in helping out with the project, now is a good time to get involved (send me a message at ravi@strictlylogic.com).  I would open source the thing if I thought there was sufficient outside interest to keep it going, but without that I’d rather stay in control and keep ownership.
